Join Shepherd’s Star for a free six-week programme

If you are looking to learn new skills, boost your confidence, improve your wellbeing, or reconnect with the community, register now.

Local charity Shepherd’s Star is hosting a socially engaging personal development programme running one day per week, over six weeks. Offering a supportive, inclusive and low-pressure learning environment, the Explore programme is designed to encourage adults who are unemployed, on a low income, suffering from mental ill health, and/or experiencing social exclusion to try new things. 

The free Explore programme will feature complementary meals and a diverse range of workshops and activities, including money management, personal empowerment, health and wellbeing, gardening, cooking, baking and DIY.

To date, 86% of participants have moved on to volunteering, studying, apprenticeships and jobs. Don’t miss your chance to explore these opportunities!
