Come to free summer talks exploring nature

This summer, residents are invited to join Barnes Common Limited for a series of talks exploring nature, growing and ecology.

The free events will discuss sustainability through everyday topics, ranging from butterflies and bugs to growing vegetables in containers. These informative and engaging talks will explore the importance of insects, herbs and vegetables to us and our planet. 

Butterfly Gardening:

  • Date: Wednesday 24 July
  • Time: 6.30 to 7.30pm
  • Location: The Polytunnel at Vine Road Recreation Ground, Barnes, SW13 0NE
  • Price: Free, but booking is essential. Register for Butterfly Gardening.

Rebugging the Planet:

  • Date: Saturday 27 July
  • Time: 10.30am to 12 noon
  • Location: The Polytunnel at Vine Road Recreation Ground, Barnes, SW13 0NE
  • Price: Free, but booking is essential. Register for Rebugging the Planet.
