Community news on behalf of Kew The Transition | 4 July 2024

This Saturday 6 July, join Kew The Transition for a textiles upcycling social to learn upcycling skills and support the local crafting community.

Led by local artists and craftspeople, the afternoon event will guide you in re-purposing items out of off-cuts of materials and old clothing. Materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring along textiles you would like to upcycle.
There will also be volunteer sewers and dressmakers on hand to assist with invisible mending, small alterations or fixing an old item you bring along. Light refreshments will be served. Come along to give old textiles new lives!
