Repair your broken items at Repair Café

Community news on behalf of Twickenham Repair Café | 16 July 2024

On Saturday 20 July, the Twickenham Repair Café is offering free repairs at St Margarets Church Hall. 

All residents are welcome to bring along any broken items for repair, such as iPads, clocks, lawn mowers, coffee machines, bikes and even garden shears.

Residents are also encouraged to donate tools. The Twickenham Repair Café is collecting them for Tools with a Mission, a charity that refurbishes unwanted usable tools, sorts them into trade tool kits and sends them to the developing countries to support livelihood creation.

The Twickenham Repair Café is a non-profit community interest company aims to promote sustainable living through providing free repair services. They have saved over 5 tonnes of wastes in the past 19 months.

To support community-driven initiatives around climate change and sustainability, residents and community groups are encouraged to apply for our climate action microgrant programme which awards grants every month.
