19 July 2024
The borough has been recognised for its open spaces, gardens and heritage sites by being awarded 22 prestigious Green Flag Awards.
The awarded parks have all reached the high standards required to receive a coveted Green Flag Award, the national standards for parks and open spaces in England and Wales.
Our parks and gardens are important green spaces for the community to socialise and enjoy nature, while also contributing to our physical and mental wellbeing.
Come along to our award-winning parks.
The Green Flag Award scheme are managed by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy under licence from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.
