Take part in the Creative Youth Assembly

4 July 2024

The Creative Youth Assembly is inviting young people to take part in a vibrant forum to engage in creative expression and address pressing issues such as climate change.

This assembly is a unique opportunity for young people to express their ideas, share their passion for the arts, and contribute to the planning of the 2025 Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival. Inspired by the theme Cultural Reforesting, the festival aims to address the ecological crisis through artist-led projects.

This event is designed for young people aged 15 to 25 and will take place on Wednesday 10 July, from 6 to 8pm at the Rehearsal rooms, Orange Tree Theatre, Clarence Street, TW9 2SA.

On the day participants can expect:

  • A supportive environment to share their views and vision for a dynamic festival in Richmond
  • A creative space to discuss the climate emergency
  • Advice and opportunities to produce their own events
  • Free pizza, soft drinks, and refreshments (gluten-free options, all food will be vegetarian/vegan)

Don’t miss this chance to have your voice heard, be represented, and help shape a new vibrant and relevant arts festival.
