Richmond marks 80 years since D-Day

To honour the brave personnel who risked and lost their lives on the beaches of Normandy on 6 June 1944, several events are taking place locally to mark the moment.

A commemorative D-Day 80th anniversary flag will also be flying outside the Civic Centre in Twickenham ahead of and throughout the day.
