Build a bug hotel this Father’s Day
Community news on behalf of Habitats & Heritage | 7 June 2024
On Sunday 16 June, residents of all ages are invited to join Habitats & Heritage in crafting a unique bug hotel as part of their Father's Fun Day.
Bug hotels help attract bees, butterflies and other insects to your garden and is hugely beneficial to the local environment.
In addition to creating a bug hotel, you’ll have the chance to participate in a scavenger hunt in the gardens chapel on Richmond Hill, where you can collect a range of interesting materials to furnish your bug hotel. There will also be a mini-beast talk to tell you more about the insects living among us.
