Richmond to host second borough-wide Sustainability Forum this June

5 June 2024

We are inviting representatives from the business, education, public, faith and community sectors, as well as residents passionate about climate action, to our second Sustainability Forum Thursday 13 June 2024 at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham (TW1 3BL).

Our Sustainability Forum was launched in late 2023, to provide a space for members of the community to gather and discuss strategies, share ideas and explore collective ways to reduce emissions and prepare the borough for the impacts of a changing climate.

Clare O’Connor, Assistant Director of Climate Change, Policy and Communications at Richmond Council, said:

“Building on the success of the forum held last November, we are delighted to announce our second event that will bring together individuals from across sectors and communities in Richmond upon Thames as we continue to work together to make our borough more adaptable to a changing climate.

“We warmly invite those who live, work and study in Richmond upon Thames to join us for an evening of networking with other locals who are passionate about sustainability, to hear from experts and champions who are driving positive change in our borough, and to find out more about our plans to develop our new strategy for 2025-2030, and how you can get involved in this process.”
