Take part in Crossroads Care’s tea party fundraiser

Community news on behalf of Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston Upon Thames | 7 June 2024

As part of Carers Week, taking place between the 10 to 16 June, residents are being invited to host a tea party to help raise funds in support of those caring for a loved one.

Local charity Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston is running a tea party fundraiser to help give those looking after a loved one of any age and disability a vital break. Raising just £54 would provide, for example, two hours of respite care, where a carer could enjoy a much-needed rest.

To support the fundraiser, residents can invite friends over for a tea party, and ask them for a donation to Crossroads Care. No fundraiser is too big, or too small to make a difference.

For over 35 years, Crossroads Care has been providing bespoke, high-quality home and community respite services in the community to support vulnerable, often isolated carers.
