Come to the Moormead Pavilion update event

On Wednesday 27 March, The Moormead Community and Sport Pavilion (MCSP) project will host an event to provide further information on its rebuild. 

The event will take place at the Turk’s Head pub from 7pm. An update will be provided about the project and residents will be told how they can get involved with some local fundraisers. 

Following a £150,000 council contribution towards the community project, the lease is now being negotiated and essential site surveys are being completed.

Fundraising is now the priority. As soon as the MCSP team has raised the necessary funds through grant applications and community donations, they’ll secure building contractors to start the project.
