Cakes and cargo bikes are coming to Hampton

Community news on behalf of Cargo Collective | 4 March 2026

Fed up of getting stuck in traffic driving the kids around? Worried about how you’re going to fit in nursery drop off and get into the office? Come and chat to local parents on 20 March about cargo bikes and how they can revolutionise your family journey.

About cargo bikes

The ultimate parenting hack, these bikes can carry up to four children within them as well as all their 'stuff'. They are electric, which means tackling hills, dropping the kids to school and then heading into work has never been easier.

Richmond Cargo Collective event

Think of it as a speed dating event between families who are thinking about buying a cargo bike and local families who have already taken the plunge.

You'll be able to test ride some different bikes and chat about how they are working out for families. Find out first hand the answers to common questions you might be thinking.

To join, simply come along with your kids for an after school chat, free cake and cargo bikes
