Surplus food for the community

Local charities Linden Hall and Surplus to Supper are co-hosting regular Community Suppers, to offer freshly cooked meals to residents.

The Community Suppers take place every Tuesday from 3 to 5pm at Linden Hall Community Centre on Linden Road, TW12 2JG. Residents are welcome to eat in or takeaway for free, or for a voluntary donation.

Through redistributing surplus food that would otherwise have gone to waste, the charities aim to bridge the gap between food waste and food poverty locally.

At the Linden Hall Community Centre, local charity The Real Junk Food Twickenham also run regular surplus food distribution sessions every Monday from 2.30 to 4.30pm and Thursday from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
