Have your say on the future of local pharmacy services
6 May 2025
Residents are invited to share their views and experiences of local pharmacy services as part of the developing 2025 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), to help ensure services continue to meet the needs of the community.
The PNA survey, carried out every three years by Richmond’s Health and Wellbeing Board, helps us and our health partners understand how people access pharmacies, what services are used, and where there may be gaps or areas for improvement.
This is an important opportunity to make sure pharmacy services meet the needs of people living and working in Richmond upon Thames, now and in the future.
Cllr Piers Allen, Chair of the Adult Social Services, Health and Housing Committee and Richmond’s Health and Wellbeing Board, said:
“Pharmacy services are a crucial part of our local healthcare system, offering expert advice, treatment and support close to home. We know how much residents rely on them, and we want to make sure they remain accessible and responsive to local needs.
“We’ve already taken steps to strengthen provision, including the recent opening of a new pharmacy in Hampton North. Now, we want to hear directly from residents about how services are working for them day to day.”
Your feedback from this survey will be used to develop our draft PNA for the next three years, which will then be available for public consultation later in 2025.
The survey is short, confidential and only takes a few minutes to complete. The survey closes on Sunday 1 June 2025.
