Bid for a good cause at the First Line Auction

Until Sunday 8 December, Richmond-based charity Three Peas is running an online auction to raise funds for their work supporting refugees and displaced people.

Local charity Three Peas invited 45 creators to handwrite the first lines of their most famous books, songs, films and plays for bidding. Each card comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

The auction features a range of first lines, including classic picture books, bestselling novels, everybody’s favourite movie, the song we all love, the funniest play ever written, the music score from the King’s Coronation, the book that changed Britain’s culinary landscape, ancient stories told anew, works by Booker Prize, Academy Award and BAFTA winners and more.

Please note that end times are staggered between 6 and 10pm on 8 December, allowing bids on different lots. Bid on a handwritten first line and support Three Peas.
