Hear about sustainable living at Climate Chat in the Church

On Tuesday 12 November, come along to St Luke’s Church and hear about practical advice on the small things we can all do to fight climate change and take care of the environment.
The evening event will be led by a stellar line-up of speakers, including Anna Hughes, founder of Flight-Free UK, John Rose, who set up Friends of Street Trees, and Eve Risbridger, a Director and Café Manager for The Real Junk Food Project (TRJFP).
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network and further engage with the speakers. Drinks and refreshments will be served after the talk.

This event is part of the St Luke's EcoChurch initiative. It is a national programme to encourage churches to cut their carbon footprint and raise awareness of the need to care for the planet. In addition, the organisers won the Environmental Award at our Community Heroes Awards this year.
Our Climate Action Microgrant awards between £100 and £500 to community groups, schools, individuals or non-profits to run events, activities and initiatives that promote positive behaviours in the community around climate change and sustainability.
