Volunteer for Cocoon's Christmas Wrapathon

Richmond-based charity Cocoon - Care After Care is recruiting volunteers to support its annual present wrapping event on Saturday 21 December in Twickenham.

All the wrapped gifts will be given to the 55 guests attending the charity's annual Christmas Day event for local young people who have recently left care. Without the event they would be facing Christmas Day alone. 

This 'Wrapathon' is a wonderful day full of warmth and community spirit with local volunteers wrapping gifts with great care. Please bring your own scissors. Wrapping paper and Sellotape will be provided.

The Christmas Day event on Wednesday 25 December, which is now in its 8th year, treats young adults aged 18 to 25 to a traditional Christmas Day with full Christmas dinner and all the trimmings and entertainment throughout the day. All guests leave with a bag of high-quality gifts and a hamper of essentials, all made possible by the generous local community.
