Walk and talk with your local police officer

On Monday 2 December, the Met Police is hosting a walk and talk session for residents to discuss issues around women’s safety.

The walk and talk initiative will involve female officers buddying up with women from their communities to go out on patrol in open spaces so that they can hear first-hand their experiences, concerns and reflections.

The aim of the walkabout is to start a conversation between the public and officers about their safety concerns and what the police can do, working with partners, to address them.

• Location: Meeting at St Margaret's station and walking to Twickenham station, winding through Mooremead Park
