'Welcome' and other tales with Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler

Local charity Habitats & Heritage warmly invites you to their popular annual festive event with the world-renowned illustrator of The Gruffalo, Axel Scheffler.

Enjoy a morning of inspiration and creativity, including:

• Storytelling from Axel and Alison Green’s new book Welcome - a joyful tale celebrating friendship and togetherness - alongside cherished classics The Snail and the Whale and The Gruffalo’s Child
• Live drawing and question-and-answer session with Axel Scheffler
• Book signing
• Pop-up shop offering Axel's books, cards and other thoughtful gifts, ideal for Christmas shopping

All activities take place in a welcoming and inspiring setting to foster a love of books and creativity in young audiences.

• Location: St Stephen’s Church, Richmond Road, Twickenham, TW1 2PD
• Show times: 9.30am and 11.45am (40-minute performance, followed by book signing)
