Donate to an Ironman challenge supporting Crossroads Care
Community news on behalf of Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston | 17 October 2024
This month, a California Ironman challenge is taking place to raise funds for Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston.
On 27 October, Harry Messenger will swim 2.4 miles, cycle 112 miles and run 26.2 miles around the Californian course. The money he raises will help the charity support unpaid carers who are looking after their loved ones, giving them a break from their demanding caring responsibilities.
Harry’s parents are supported by Crossroads Care. He said: “My family has been fantastically supported by the charity and we'd love your support to extend the impact that this local charity can make.”
Since 1987, Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston upon Thames has provided high-quality home and community respite care services. They support carers and those they care for of all ages and disabilities, including debilitating conditions from dementia to profound disability.
