Free six-week programme to develop motivation and confidence

Local charity Shepherd’s Star is hosting a free programme to support, encourage and empower adults facing barriers to rediscover confidence and reignite potential.

Explore is a socially engaging personal development programme running one day per week, over six weeks. Offering a supportive, inclusive and low-pressure learning environment, the programme is designed to encourage adults who are unemployed, on a low income, suffering from mental ill health, and/or experiencing social exclusion to learn new skills, boost their confidence, improve their wellbeing and reconnect with the community.

The Explore programme will feature complementary meals and a diverse range of workshops and activities, including money management, personal empowerment, health and wellbeing, gardening, cooking, baking and DIY.

  • Dates: Tuesdays, 5 November to 10 December 2024
  • Time: 10am to 3pm
  • Location: Richmond Library Annex, Quadrant, TW9 1DU
