Major roadworks on A316 London Road roundabout to start next week

Transport for London (TfL) has announced that major roadworks on the A316 at the London Road roundabout are set to commence on Monday 21 October 2024.

The project will involve significant changes to the roundabout which aim to improve safety and traffic flow in the area but will inevitably cause some disruption to local residents and commuters.

TfL will be holding an online briefing session on Thursday 24 October at 6.30pm via Microsoft Teams. This session will provide an opportunity for residents and commuters to learn more about the works and ask any questions they may have.

Our Network Management Team will be closely monitoring traffic in the area and liaising with TfL to minimise disruption. Residents are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and consider alternative routes if possible.
