Time for a clean-up at Sheen Common

Following the success of last month’s litter pick at Palewell Common, Clean Sheen has announced its next community clean-up event at Sheen Common in East Sheen, on Sunday 12 October.

Join Friends of Sheen Common and Habitats & Heritage in giving this much-loved green space a post-summer refresh!

Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and families are especially encouraged to take part. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about caring for their environment while contributing to the local community.

Litter-picking tools and rubbish bags will be provided, and refreshments will be served after the clean-up.

• Date: Sunday 12 October 2025
• Time: 9.30 to 11.30am - join for as long as you can
• Location: Sheen Common, East Sheen (you will be told the meeting point after registering)
