Vision board? Personalised card? Unleash your creativity at the Fixery
9 October 2026
Get creative with rescued materials at a free relaxed zero-waste paper cutting session at The Fixery.
Taking place in the beautifully restored Grove Gardens Chapel, this free session offers the chance to cut, stick, arrange and create using magazines, paper and other materials that have been saved from going to waste.
Whether you choose to make a collage, greeting card, vision board, mood board or something entirely unique, the session is all about exploring ideas and enjoying the creative process. There is no set project, theme or creative instruction. Simply bring an open mind and see where your imagination takes you. If you have a particular idea in mind, you are welcome to bring reference images to inspire your creation.
All materials have been reclaimed and rescued from the bin, helping to give unwanted items a new purpose. A4 paper, magazines and a variety of other paper resources will be available to use, although participants are welcome to bring their own materials or glue if preferred. The glue provided is non-toxic.
At the end of the session, you'll be able to take your creation home with you to display, frame, give as a gift, use as a vision board, or simply enjoy as a reminder of the time spent making something new from materials that might otherwise have been thrown away.
