Richmond Mencap launches autumn and winter activities for young people

Richmond Mencap is offering a programme of term-time and holiday activities from October 2026 to January 2027, providing opportunities for young people with special needs and learning disabilities to get out, have fun and connect with others.

The programme includes cinema trips, mini golf, bowling, an escape room and trampoline park, as well as seasonal outings to the Halloween and Christmas lights at Kew Gardens.

Richmond Mencap describes the programme as safe, friendly and inclusive, with small groups, trauma-informed staff and a focus on clear communication, confidence-building and social connection.

The programme begins on Sunday 25 October with a cinema trip to Odeon Richmond, followed by a visit to Thames Valley Adventure Playground on Tuesday 27 October and then a full programme of exciting visits and activities right through to January.
