Food support is available in Richmond

Community news on behalf of Richmond's Food Partnership Network | 10 September 2024

Richmond residents can access a variety of food support services designed to help those in need.

Richmond's Food Partnership Network aims to strengthen the network of organisations in the borough that deliver activity relating to food provision and environmental sustainability. The network has collated all the food provision services across the borough into a handy leaflet to help residents find services that are convenient to them.

The leaflet includes the Richmond Food Bank, which operates across seven sites in the borough and requires a food voucher. It also includes Food for Thought Heathfield’s surplus food stall and the pay-as-you-feel surplus cafés operated by the Real Junk Food Project.

You can also find details of local cooking classes provided by Cooking Up and free or low-cost community lunches.

View the leaflet to find support near you.

Visit our Cost of Living Hub for the latest information on what is available nationally and locally, as well as details of the borough’s network of Community Spaces  and free support calculator.

You can also sign up to receive cost of living support updates straight to your inbox.
