Come and have your say about the future of Richmond upon Thames
5 September 2024
We are inviting residents to have their voices heard at the upcoming Community Conversation event, scheduled for Tuesday 24 September 2024, from 6.30 to 9pm at Clarendon Hall, York House, Twickenham.
This event is an opportunity for local people to engage directly with lead councillors and share their thoughts on the future of the borough. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and share thoughts and ideas on key issues such as community safety, environment and sustainability, Council spending, and more.
Cllr Nancy Baldwin, the Council's lead for Communities, says: "Listening to residents is fundamental when it comes to shaping the future of our borough. Creating an inclusive borough where everyone feels valued and heard is at the heart of our vision for Richmond’s future. We want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to share their ideas and concerns, whether they attend in person or join us online. This Community Conversation is a vital part of our commitment to an open town hall and collaboration."
Richmond Council Leader Gareth Roberts, along with the chairs of the Council’s decision-making committees, will be present to answer questions on a broad range of topics affecting the borough. The evening will begin with informational stalls and the chance to meet councillors in person from 6.30 to 7pm, followed by a Q&A session that residents can join either in person or online.
Attendance is free but registration is essential. Register now
