Help your little one stay well this flu season

Community news on behalf of South London Children and Young People's Community Immunisation Service | 8 September 2025

On Wednesday 10 September and Monday 15 September 2025, join the South London Children and Young People’s Community Immunisation Service (CYPCIS) for children's flu vaccine webinars.

This winter, give your child the best protection against flu by ensuring they receive the flu vaccine.

If you are a parent, or care for a child or a young person, join this webinar to learn more about the annual flu vaccine. The CYPCIS team will explain the importance of the flu vaccine, guide you through completing your child's consent form and answer any questions you may have.

The children's flu vaccine helps protect against flu. It's offered to children aged 2 to 3 years, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) and children with certain long-term health conditions.

Make sure that your child receives the flu vaccine when they are offered it at school.

For more information on the flu vaccine, visit the NHS website.
