'Almost, Maine' is coming to the OSO Arts Centre
Community news on behalf of OSO Arts Centre | 16 September 2026
Twice a year, this small but very ambitious fringe theatre on Barnes Green hosts two in-house productions. This autumn, they will be putting on John Cariani’s Almost, Maine, a play born in the north of the north-eastern most state in the US.
It promises to be their most ambitious production yet. There will be a shapeshifting set - 20 very different characters played by eight spectacular actors - and they’ll be bringing the Northern Lights to Barnes!
The OSO’s production of Almost, Maine will be one of very few productions of the play in the UK. In, America, though, Almost, Maine is more produced than Shakespeare and has had countless Off-Broadway runs. The OSO is really excited to bring its magic to the UK and to Barnes.
Keep an eye out for tickets on the OSO website.
