Community BlueScapes Fund
Community BlueScapes is offering £30,000 to support residents, community groups, and local businesses to adapt to a changing climate. The fund will support projects and initiatives that benefit the community or area in adapting to extreme weather such as flooding.
Grant amounts
This fund will be made up of grants of up to £1000 for people or groups without an organisational bank account, and up to £5000 for people with an organisational bank account.
Dates
The Community BlueScapes Fund will close for new applications on Friday 26 January 2024.
Using the grant
Funds could be used to create projects such as rain gardens, install water butts, start a community garden, set up a community climate event, protect local wildlife, or make it easier for local people to connect with each other and nature – together we can make a real difference.
Fund eligibility
We want to fund good ideas that do at least one of these three things:
- Flood resilience – helping the area prepare for, cope with and recover from flooding.
- Nature and climate change – enhancing nature and preparing for the effects of climate change.
- Community benefit – making the area better for the people that live here.
All projects must be in the Community BlueScapes project area.
