Richmond Routes photograph competition

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications.

By participating, all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1. Eligibility: this promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) aged 16 or over except employees of the promoter, their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion
2. Promotional period: the opening date for entries is 1 May 2024 and the closing date for entries is 6pm (GMT) on Friday 31 May 2024
3. Entry instructions: participants must submit a photograph they have taken from any location on a route around Richmond upon Thames
4. This promotion is open to users from any of our major social media platforms using the hashtag #RichmondRoutes, as well as email entries through communitynews@richmond.gov.uk
5. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions
6. The winner will be notified following conclusion of a public vote period, ending on Friday 7 2024. The winner will be notified via the platform they submitted their winning entry and will be requested to leave their details. Further details will then be provided by the promoter as to how to claim their prize
7. Prize: Winning prize is four adult tickets to the London Wetland Centre (Queen Elizabeth Walk, London, SW13 9WT), for use by 1 December 2024. Runner up prize is one month's free membership to one Council-run leisure centre
8. The winner will be selected through a public vote conducted via a Microsoft Form.
9. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted but may still be used across social media, just as entries received before the closing date may be used across social media.
10. The promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause
11. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment
12. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the promoter is final
