Information for stallholders

What you need to know if you are registered or would like to apply to be a stallholder at the 2024 Full of Life Fair.

About the fair

The Full of Life Fair will take place on Friday 27 September 2024 from 10am to 4pm.

We are currently accepting applications from local businesses, organisations, charities and interest and support groups who would like to host a stall at this year’s fair.

To submit an application, complete our application form. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis. The deadline to apply is Monday 8 July

We are looking for local stallholders who can help us to achieve our aim of providing our residents aged 55 and over—as well as those with caring responsibilities—with the local information and resources they need to live more active, healthy, socially connected lives, as well as more independently in their own homes.

We want our offer to focus on supporting our local population to Age Well, in line with the vision set out in Richmond’s Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

In the stallholder application, we will ask for details about how your stall will contribute to this aim. Before submitting an application, please also ensure you have read and agree with our terms and conditions of stall hire.

Terms and conditions

  • Each stall is allowed a maximum of two volunteers at one time. This is to ensure that we comply with venue capacity limits while prioritising guest numbers. Volunteers may be scheduled into shifts - this approach has worked well for stallholders in the past. All names must be provided no later than one week in advance of event, so we can send along to venue security.
  • As a minimum, stalls will be provided one 6ft trestle table, two chairs and a small amount of floor space for banners - free-standing banners are all we can accommodate in this space, as we are unable to hang materials on the walls. We have a very limited number of electrical outlets available to us in this venue, so space next to one will be allocated on the basis of need.
  • Stalls will be set up between 4 to 7pm on Thursday 26 September. Stalls cannot be set up on the day of the event, in compliance with venue health and safety requirements.
  • Those who are coming to set up a stall, and those packing up materials following the event on the 27 September, will have access to the venue’s concourse, making it easier to load and unload materials. We will arrange this in advance with venue security, and will email confirmed stallholders closer to time with specific instructions.

Lunch

  • Stallholders will have tea, coffee and small nibbles available to them on the day. If you would like something more substantial to eat, or if you have specific dietary requirements, we recommend bringing your own provisions.
  • We would encourage stallholders to bring reusable coffee cups and water bottles to help us reduce waste.

Payment

The cost of hiring a stall at the fair is:

  • £60 + VAT for businesses
  • £30 + VAT for registered charities

Payments are online only, and a registration link will be sent to you following confirmation of space.

Credit card payments are subject to a handling fee. There is no handling fee for debit card payments.
