We are proud to honour our residents of South Asian heritage by celebrating their history, culture, and impact in the community.
South Asian Heritage Month 2023 takes place from Tuesday 18 July to Thursday 17 August.
Stories to tell
This year’s theme is ‘Stories to Tell’. Throughout the month, we will be sharing stories of South Asian people who live, work, study and run businesses in Richmond upon Thames. We will learn about family histories, traditions, cultures, and cherished memories. The stories also provide an insight into how their heritage has influenced their personal journeys.
