Strawberry Hill House
Strawberry Hill House started life as a modest house in 1698 until Horace Walpole transformed it between 1747 and 1792 into the finest example of Georgian Gothic Revival architecture. Horace doubled its size and created Gothic rooms and adding towers and battlements. In 1923 the house and grounds became St Mary's College.
