Ali Abbas and Friends exhibition
1 April - 21 May, Riverside Gallery, Richmond
Ali Abbas was a casualty of the Iraq war in 2003. His horrific injuries resulted in the amputation of his arms and worldwide media attention. Four months after the amputation, he began painting with his foot. Curated by Ali in collaboration with the Limbless Association, these colourful works touch, move and inspire.
