Partnership and LANTAC schemes

Building Control system changes 

We are upgrading our system, and some services will be unavailable whilst we complete the work. 

Applications submitted from Wednesday 29 January will not be processed until Thursday 6 February. Deadlines will be extended accordingly.  

Site visits can be requested and will be processed as normal. 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Partnership scheme

The Partnership scheme allows architects/developers to form a partnership with an individual Local Authority Building Control organisation to assess their Building Regulation submission and gain approval in any Local Authority in England and Wales.

LANTAC scheme

A LANTAC type approval means that the design is automatically accepted by Local Authority Building Control organisations through England and Wales.
