Barnes Green

The focal point of Barnes village is the Green and its pond which connects to Barnes Common via a footbridge across Beverley Brook at the northern end of the Green.

Barnes Green has been developed as one of several accessible Friendly Parks for All in the borough.

Visiting the park

Barnes Green is accessible at all times. Car parking in the area is limited, so it is advisable to walk or use public transport.

The nearest train station is Barnes Bridge, and the area is served by bus routes 209, 485 and 969.

 

Public Space Protection Orders and byelaws

All council-managed parks and open spaces are covered by Public Space Protection Orders and formal byelaws, to help us reduce antisocial behaviour and breaches of dog control orders.
