Bushy Park is the second largest Royal Park in Greater London. It has recently been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest SSSI.

Visiting the park

Bushy Park is open to pedestrians at all times. Vehicular access is restricted depending on the time of year, you should visit the Royal Parks website before visiting to check opening times.

Car parking is available, but you can also reach the park using public transport. Nearest train stations are Teddington, Hampton Wick and Hampton Court and the area is served by bus routes 111, 216, 411, 465, 481, X26 and R68.

The park covers a large area and there are several gates in different locations.

Public Space Protection Orders and byelaws

All council-managed parks and open spaces are covered by Public Space Protection Orders and formal byelaws, to help us reduce antisocial behaviour and breaches of dog control orders.
