Ham Avenues is a historic interlocking network of avenues with a formal setting in front of important conservation habitats. 

About the park

The site is popular with horse riders and walkers.

Ham Common and Richmond Park are located to the south and the River Thames and Ham House to the North. A section of the Avenues runs adjacent to Sandy Lane Recreation Ground.

Visiting the park

Ham Avenues is accessible at all times. The nearest train stations are Kingston and Richmond, and the area is also served by the bus routes 65 and 371.

Public Space Protection Orders and byelaws

All council-managed parks and open spaces are covered by Public Space Protection Orders and formal byelaws, to help us reduce antisocial behaviour and breaches of dog control orders.
