The grounds of Hampton Court Palace cover 750 acres, with the formal gardens 60 acres and the palace buildings 6 acres, all set within a loop of the River Thames. The palace and grounds are managed by Historic Royal Palaces.

The gardens feature spectacular displays of bulbs, the world's oldest maze, fountains, and many different areas to explore.
Visiting the park
There is an entrance fee for Hampton Court Palace, which includes access to the gardens. Visit the Historic Royal Palaces website for information on ticket prices and opening times before you visit.
There is car parking available, but the site is also accessible by public transport. The nearest train station is Hampton Court, and the area is also served by the bus route R68, which comes through Richmond.
