At the southern end of Richmond Cemetery lies the Old Cemetery, or Richmond Old Burial Ground. Dating back to 1856, the cemetery is now a peaceful and relatively wild woodland around a Grade II listed chapel.
About the park
Richmond Burial Ground Trust looks after the site with Richmond Council. Managing the site is a balance between maintaining the historic interest and allowing the wildlife of this Site of Importance for Nature Conservation to flourish. View the management plan (pdf, 1.1 MB).
The chapel was restored in the 1990s and is cared for by Habitats & Heritage.

North Sheen is the nearest station and the area is served by the 371 bus route.
