Sheen Common
Fife Road, London, SW14 7EL Map
Part of the common is managed as a recreation ground, while the rest is peaceful woodland.
About the park
Recreation facilities include:
- Two football pitches
- Bowling green
- Cricket square (leased to a local club)
- Four tennis courts
The rest of the site is woodland that is popular with dog walkers and bird watchers alike and connects with Richmond Park at Bog Gate.
The woodland is now managed to encourage wildlife on the site - foxes and numerous bird species inhabit this area and there is a small seasonal pond. The freehold is owned by the National Trust.
