Request a Local Land Charges search

Use this form to request a search of the Local Land Charges Register.

Before you start

This form includes the option to search the official Local Land Charges Register using the Form LLC1 (Local Land Charges Rules 1977 Schedule 1, Form C), and to make enquiries of the local authority using the CON29 and CON29O (Optional Enquiries) forms, as developed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

We are currently unable to accept requests for Additional Parcel searches through the online form. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Payment is by credit/debit card only and all search results will be returned via email.

You will need

The following details will need to be included for a search to be accepted:

• Your name, address, a valid email address and a telephone number
• The type of search required
• Details of the property or land you wish to search
• A clear plan (Land Registry extract or Ordnance Survey map) of the search extent (to be uploaded)
• Credit/debit card for payment

What happens next

Once your search has been submitted you will receive an email to confirm that your request has been received. We will contact you if any more information is required.

Standard searches are usually completed within five working days, although some searches may take longer than this.
