Personal searches of the Local Land Charges Register

A Personal Search is an inspection of the Local Land Charges Register. It can be carried out by anyone upon payment of fee.

Guidelines on submitting your Personal Search:

• Email your Personal Search to the following email address landcharges@richmond.gov.uk
• We will only accept only one address per email, there is no limit set to how many emails you send per day.
  *This is subject to change based on volumes
• We will aim to return your results by email within the same turnaround times as for our Full Searches. Currently within five working days or less  

Please send you Personal Search in the following format:

• Enter the following in the subject line: Personal Search – Full Address
• In the main body of the email include the following:
  • Full Address
  • Company and, or searchers name
  • Contact telephone number
  • Attach a plan if the search area covers a piece of land or the search area covers more than the property boundary

We will no longer accept bookings for a Personal Searches at the Council offices.
