In April 2023 we contacted residents of the Fulwell Park Estate to advise them that we would be remarking existing footway parking areas and implementing new lengths of double yellow lines.

Since then, we have received feedback from residents of properties in this area. We have reviewed this feedback, made revisions to the layout and distributed a letter updating all local properties. View the letter sent to Fulwell Park Estate properties.

Implementation of changes

From Monday 11 September to Sunday 24 September 2023 any parking contraventions for parking on the new double yellow lines may result in a warning notice being issued. From Monday 25 September, Penalty Charge Notices will be issued.

Large size drawings of the measures will also be available to view at Twickenham Library, Garfield Road, Twickenham, Middlesex TW1 3JT during normal opening hours.

Consultation

As advised in our April 2023 letter, the double yellow lines have been implemented with an Experimental Traffic Management Order. This will provide a statutory consultation period of six months up to Friday 15 March 2024. During this time representations can be made:

  • By letter to the Head of Engineering (Traffic and Parking Policy), Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW1 3BZ, or
  • By email to the address at the top of the letter
