Fulwell Park Estate parking review

In May 2024 we implemented new lengths of double yellow lines in this area.

Background

These double yellow lines were aimed at improving road and personal safety issues in the area including better access to/from the area for all vehicles including emergency service vehicles. At the same time, all footway parking markings were refreshed.

Implementation of changes

The double yellow lines were implemented by way of Experimental Traffic Management Orders. Representations to these double yellow lines were invited within six months of the start date of the double yellow lines.

Consultation

To take account of modifications made to the parking bay layout, the formal consultation period commenced on 11 September 2023 and ended on 15 March 2024.

Results and decision

All representations to the proposals have been considered and the decision has been made to make the double yellow lines permanent.
