School travel grants and awards

Annually the School Travel Advisor offers all schools an opportunity to apply for small grants to support activities set out in their school travel plans.

How to apply

The LA School Travel Advisor usually offers the grants to schools by email invitation annually, but if you have a specific request, contact the School Travel Advisor, on stp@richmond.gov.uk. Grants are budget dependent and match funding from the school is helpful.

Schools must be TfL Travel for Life accredited or commit to submitting for accreditation by the end of the academic year in which the grant is awarded.

Occasionally, TfL will also offer grants for schools. The School Travel Advisor will pass on their opportunities when they are made available.
