Waste disposal

  • Charge £219 per tonne,
  • Minimum charge £44

Green waste

  • Price: £123 per tonne
  • Minimum charge: £23

These prices apply provided you have complied with the following rules:

  • You must inform the weighbridge operator before weighing in.
  • The waste must be 100% green with no other materials mixed in.
  • Only use the green waste bay. No other waste is to be taken to other parts of the site unless users have weighed out and back in again.
  • Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in users being charged at the full rate of £205 per tonne.

Scrap metal, cardboard and paper

  • Price: £123 per tonne
  • Minimum charge: £23

These prices apply provided you have complied with the following rules:

  • You must inform the weighbridge operator before weighing in.
  • All cardboard, as far as practicable, must be flat packed with no polystyrene packing.
  • Paper must not contain any plastic coatings or packaging and must be removed from files or boxes.
  • Scrap metal will only be accepted if it is 100% recyclable.
  • Only deposit materials in the appropriate area as designated by the site supervisor/weighbridge operator.
  • Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in users being charged at the full rate of £205 per tonne.

Construction and demolition waste

This includes waste from preparatory works.

  • Price: £219 per tonne
  • Minimum charge: £44

When delivering this waste you must:

  • Inform site staff before unloading
  • Deposit any rubble separately from other materials e.g. bags, wood, plaster, soil
  • Only deposit rubble in the designated bay for inert waste

Where charges apply, you must not deposit any other waste until you have weighed out and back in again.

Except where all of the following apply:

  • The waste was produced at a domestic property by occupiers of that domestic property
  • No payment for the works that generated the waste was or will be made
  • The amount of waste delivered in a single visit is either:
    • Less than 100 litres and capable of being fitted into two 50 litre bags
    • A single article of waste no larger than 2000mm x 750mm x 700mm in size
  • The waste delivered does not exceed four single visits per household in any four week period

DIY waste

  • Price: £219
  • Minimum charge £44

Hazardous waste and difficult waste

We are no longer allowed to accept the following waste from traders at this facility:

  • All types of fridges/freezers – including (household types)
  • Televisions and computer monitors
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Wood containing dangerous substances
  • Chemicals such as paint, pesticides solvents
  • Waste engine oil
  • Lead acid batteries
  • Tyres
  • All types of asbestos
