Product is within a card box containing a plastic bottle of white cream. The box was marked, B.B.Clear, Lightening, AHA, Skin Respectful Lotion, Lightening care, 200 ml 6.7 fl.oz. A list of "Key ingredients" was also present. The bottle was marked, B.B.Clear, Lightening, AHA, Skin Respectful Lotion, 200 ml 6.7 fl.oz, Fab: 10/06/22, Exp: 06/2027.

Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as following analysis, the cream was found to contain 4.6% w / w hydroquinone which is prohibited in cosmetic products. Hydroquinone is a skin sensitiser and may cause allergic contact dermatitis.

The product also required improvements to labelling and markings.

The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.

Corrective action
Removal of the listing by the online marketplace (eBay).

We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
