Fitting for ceiling lamp using GU10 bulbs supplied in brown cardboard packaging with an outline of the product image on the face.

Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the earthing arrangements are insufficient, which can allow accessible metal parts of the product to become live. If the consumer were to touch the light to clean or replace the bulb, they would receive an electric shock. The product also required improvement to marking, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed
