Clear bag with blue and red writing containing large naphthalene eggs

Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as it contains 99.7% naphthalene, which is a banned, carcinogenic substance. Ingestion or inhalation of the chemical can cause irreversible damage to internal organs.

The product does not meet the requirements of the REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008 ('registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals').

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
